This tour to Southern Africa—from the fascinating cities to the enthralling game drives and breathtaking scenery—is sure to offer you an experience of a lifetime. A highlight of your trip is the Kapama Private Game Reserve in Kruger National Park, where you’ll enjoy six game drives to see the remarkable number of species, including 42 mammal species and 350 bird species. You’ll have a great chance to see the “Big 5”—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape Buffalo. Have your cameras ready because you may also see impala, giraffe, hippo, hyena, wildebeest, and more.

An action packed tour that heads from the beautiful city of Cape Town north to Durban, with its sandy beaches and warm Indian Ocean. Stop at Cape Agulhas at the tip of the African continent, look for game in De Hoop Nature Reserve and cross the majestic Outeniqua Mountains. We then journey along the Garden Route with its Mediterranean climate and vegetation, the sheer extravagance of its tropical forests, brilliantly hued birds, multitudinous exotic plant species, tranquil inland lakes, densely wooded mountains, pristine beaches and meandering, reed-banked rivers. From Cape Town we head to Mosselbay via Hermanus, renowned for its whale sightings. We travel to the idyllic haven of Plettenberg Bay, referred to locally as “Millionaires Playground", a perfect beach destination. The little town of Knysna is big on attractions from the Featherbed Nature Reserve to its interactive Elephant experience. Tsitsikamma Coastal National Park has become synonymous with adventure and offers a variety of activities from tree top canopy tours to bungee jumping. Our inland trip back to Cape Town takes us through the semi-desert Klein Karoo and the ostrich capital of the world, Oudtshoorn. We visit the Cango Caves, a local ostrich farm and Cango Wildlife Ranch before heading back to Cape Town.

Kololo Game Reserve offers an amazing wildlife experience in this family friendly environment. The private game reserve is situated in a malaria free area making it suitable for children of all ages. The reserve is home to many ‘smaller’ animal species such as giraffe, zebra, various antelope and warthogs, which makes it safe for children to be out and about. Included is a visit to a Cheetah Project, and Bambela Animal Shelter, as well as the Big 5 experience in Welgevonden Nature Reserve, only one kilometre away from Kololo’s gate! From peaceful Port Elizabeth, we take you on safari in Addo. See the world-renowned elephants that this park is named after, plus a plethora of smaller game, bird life and wonderful scenery. Next it is on to Tsitsikamma National Park, with its lush vegetation and meandering streams - this is the perfect place to stretch your legs and explore a little piece of Africa. There is lots more to see in Plettenburg Bay, Ostrich Oudtshoorn and along the magnificent Garden Route. Journey's end is in Cape Town - easily one of the most stunning cities you will ever visit and a perfect place to spend a couple of extra days.
