Namibia, named after the Namib Desert, is known for its contrasting landscapes and striking diversity of cultures. It is the second most sparsely populated country in the world, and the desolate Namib Desert is said to be the oldest in the world, with its stunningly beautiful dunes and landscapes. Namibia is a photographer’s dream. It has rugged mountains, wild coast, amazing wildlife, stark deserts and fascinating tribes. On this short lodge-based tour, we explore Etosha National Park with its abundance of wildlife and flood lit waterholes perfect for game viewing, and roam the desert plains and dune fields of the Namib Naukluft Park. We visit a Refuge and Rehabilitation Centre, and spend time in the coastal town of Swakopmund.
