Between cosmopolitan Santiago and the city at the end of the world, Ushuaia, experience an action-packed adventure, brimming with variety. In between glacier viewing at El Calafate and wildlife spotting (seals, penguins or even an elusive puma), hiking through the wilds of Torres del Paine and trekking at El Chalten, indulge in local specialities of chocolate and fondue, Patagonian lamb and fresh seafood, Chilean Pisco and Argentinean red wine. Then kick back, relax and enjoy the good life on a boat cruise through Chilean Patagonia taking you on a voyage of discovery through some of the most pristine and untamed scenery in the world.

This epic journey leads us from Peruvian coast, across deserts, and through high mountain passes. En route, we'll discover the Nazca Lines and go in search of condors at Colca Canyon. We'll hike the legendary Inca Trail to discover the fabled citadel of Machu Picchu, and enjoy the fabulous town of Cusco. Heading across the altiplano, we sail across Lake Titicaca's cobalt blue waters. Continuing south, we enjoy a trip out onto the Salt Flats, then descend into Argentina where we'll travel parallel with the great Andean range. Our last stop in Argentina is the laid back city of Mendoza, surrounded by many fine vineyards. One last mountain crossing brings us to Santiago, where we'll round off our journey.

Leaving Santiago, we head south to the cooler climates of Patagonia. Traversing lakes and mountains, we arrive into alpine Bariloche then journey across the very centre of Argentina to spot wildlife at the Valdes Peninsula. A short stop in the city that never sleeps, Buenos Aires, gives us a chnace to enjoy cafe society. Our journey continues to the friendly country of Uruguay, before heading to the Brazilian border to marvel at the stunning Iguazu Falls. Heading through Brazil gives us time to relax on tropical beaches before rocking into the city of Rio for a spectacular end to our journey.

We've incorporated all favourite South American highlights into a little over 2 months so if you are short on time yet want to see it all, this is the tour for you! From Peru's mysterious Nazca Lines to the majestic condors at Colca Canyon and the challenging Inca Trail to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Next comes the peaceful Lake Titicaca and Bolivia's Salt Flats. After that we discover the wineries of Argentina and the stunning lakes, mountains and volcanoes of Patagonia. Heading up Argentina's east coast, there's time for an excursion to spot wildlife out on the Valdes Peninsula and a few days to kick back and relax in Buenos Aires. Continuing north, we'll visit the stunning falls at Iguazu before enjoying some well-earned rest on Brazil's beautiful beaches. And what better place to round of your trip than in the stunning city of Rio?

From a beach camp at Puerto Inca on the Peruvian coast, climb high into the towering Andes at Arequipa, cross the Altiplano next to soaring condors and descend to the Indian village of San Pedro encircled by volcanoes. Along the way, discover the essence of the continent: the Inca heartland around Cuzco, the mysterious Nazca Lines, the shimmering salt lakes on the Bolivian-Chilean border and the star-studded night skies above the deserts of Chile.

This epic journey takes us from the barren and chilly altiplano, across great deserts and through the verdant and lake studded lands of Patagonia. Bolivia, with its large indigenous population, witches markets and colonial towns, contrasts sharply with the more European and affluent countries of Argentina and Chile. Beginning our journey in La Paz, we wind our way south, making an excursion out onto the famous salt flats before crossing the border into Argentina's wine country. Cosmopolitan Chile comes next, where we take in some of Chilean Patagonia's most stunning scenery. Back across the border in Argentina we head towards the wild Atlantic Ocean in search of local wildlife. Our final leg of the journey brings us to Buenos Aires, aptly named the "Paris of South America" with its tree-lined avenues and cafe society, which makes for a fantastic end to our trip.
